Journey (2): Tourism as Swiss army knife
The Trip to Nantes reminds me of my Swiss Army knife. It does pretty much everything. And nothing better than less.
Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, is the main blade. His thread is a bit warped, but it does its job. It is mainly that I use. Sometimes I tell myself that the matter had better Opinel.
Museum of Fine Arts is the saw. Useful, except it is stuck and I do not know when I'll be able to unlock it. Same for the file, which can be the museum Dobrée.
The Machines de l'Ile is the corkscrew: visible and not very effective. After three or four years of use, it is a little blunt, slightly bent. I persist in using it, because I refuse to admit it to end, by putting more effort than I get the result: it will take to finish the job Screwpull ®.
The Memorial to the Abolition of Slavery is the punch. I feel obliged to show it, but every time I pricked his finger. I never use it otherwise. It is far more dangerous than useful.
Estuary is the vistemboir. Any good Swiss Army knife has a vistemboir, something complicated that nobody knows what to do, some say it's a pipe cleaner, others robs-hook, others a weather indicator. I show it to all my visitors, who pretend to be regarded with interest.
The unique place is the magnifying glass. With it, the frog seems as big as an ox.
There are still three or four minor accessories, toothpicks, tweezers, tinkering ...
In addition, this device is cumbersome and unlikely to me deforms pockets. Nevertheless, the Swiss are selling with a vengeance. The Trip to Nantes his chances.
