Sheet Cake Anniversary Ideas

Portobelo - Portobelo Colon Anchorage (N 09 W 079 33 476 39,778)

We're waking up the radio to 9.30! Alexe, of course, was awake, but the rest of the gang slept very hard!

We breakfasted, weighed anchor and headed towards Portobelo - a small bay which brings us closer than 20 miles from San Blas. We had the wind on the nose all along, but with a combination of sailing and motor, we managed to keep my focus and not get too late in the afternoon. The captain was not pleased at the idea of advancing motor, but with a current against us and more, the choice was not difficult. Since all the

world is in great shape, we go fishing line! Once JC bar line, poof! That bites! The girls are super edgy! We bring on board a good mackerel, enough for dinner! Alex wants to see everything, how do you know the "sleep", empty, making nets. She is Madame "hands-on", she wants to know why something does something and especially how it works! You should see her when jC plays in the engine!

Portobelo is a beautiful little bay, relatively well protected where there are several boats. We found people we had to cross San Andre and Quebec. After a quick 5 @ 7 on Kelp Fiction, we returned to our beautiful boat eating freshly caught mackerel!
Girls: Alex has always had his nose in books. When she was younger, she would spend hours watching the images. Today, she reads. She reads books for children, but for some time, she reads books more "hard core".

We bought the complete series for children by Roald Dahl 6 months ago and told us that eventually, she could read them (there is also an adult who is more than awesome). Until two months ago, she had no not even affected - fewer images, font size smaller, more pages to read ... But one morning as we breakfasted, she begins to talk about the characters in The Twits - sure enough, she had read half! Quickly, she tackled the rest of the series. The only one left was James and the Giant Peach - a book of 120 pages it started yesterday.

Congratulations to Alex!
